We sent a letter to Governor Inslee asking him to extend Washington's eviction moratorium through March in order to keep our neighbors housed and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We held a virtual assembly in August with over 80 people coming together to share stories, welcome new members, and take action on the issues we care about.
As the year comes to a close, Sound Alliance is celebrating our accomplishments and getting ready for the new year.
In 2018, we executed on our mission, developing everyday leaders to work together towards the common good:
90 leaders from 17 different institutions witnessed public commitments supporting immigrants and children, heard personal stories of how these issues impacted people’s lives, saw Sound Alliance’s brand new video, and more at a packed Sound Alliance Action and Delegate Assembly on October 18.
The Sound Alliance Immigrant Rights Action Team only set up 40 chairs at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Federal Way on June 21, 2018.
Then 60 people piled into the room, filling it to capacity to hear Jay Stansell, J.D. present a workshop entitled “Reclaiming the Constitution. Knowing, Defending, and Using Your Rights in the Face of Injustice.”
We are happy to announce that the Society of St. Vincent de Paul: King County has officially joined the Sound Alliance!
Five of the six Seattle School Board candidates committed to supporting major asks from Sound Alliance’s three campaigns at our 10/26 Action Assembly at Casa Latina, strategically moving those campaigns forward.
The assembly featured excellent testimonies and leadership from Sound Alliance members. Congratulations to all who worked to make the event a success!
